Farmer's Wife....

I starting dating my husband when I was a sophomore in High School and he was a senior.  He was a farmer then and has been since.  It is in his blood and that is one of the many things that I am proud of him about.

He has never given up on his farming and he is very good at it.

I on the other hand after being married for almost 11 years I am still figuring it out.

I have occasionally fed buckets in the past but in the last year I have fed more buckets than in the last 10.  I have learned how to help plant plots as my husband is a Channel Seedsman.
I am not saying that I am a city girl whatsoever I like to be in the country.
I just have never been the hands on in the farming business but I have to say I might gripe and complain while I am helping him or when I have to go do chores and it is late when me and the kids get home, but dang it I feel accomplished at the end of the day and oh my it is a workout also. I feel like I have put
my hands to work helping out family farm out!

I will say to my husband that I am probably not that much help and he almost always (there are a few times when he says just back up) says better than no help at all.

I love that our kids will have the experience of growing up on a farm and know how to drive tractors and all that good stuff.

My 2 youngest kids watching on... the oldest was at church

I once wondered why I married a farmer than I realized that it was a gift to marry a farmer.

To getting fit and healthy

I have done a blog before and now that I stay home I thought I would start another one......

I am mom to 2 wonderful, mouthy, spunky, handsome boys, Jace (8) and James (3) and a  beautiful, easy going, laid backed, calm baby girl Joellyn (5 months).  Jace is my mouthy and full of it kid that can make me scream one minute then melt my heart the next (we are alot alike). He does wonderful in school and then comes home and we fight for book reports, spelling words and homework. He is the kind of kid that wants to please everyone and not have any enemies and I love that about him.  His feelings get hurt very easily but at least he will let you know about it.  Then I have James.  He is one of a kind and completely keeps me on my toes all day long.  He is crazy and loveable.  He is onry and all boy.  He does not like hugs or kisses from anybody and his feelings do not get hurt. We are struggling with thumb sucking at this time and trying to get him to quit...... We have tried alot of things and I am at a point I don't know what to try next. My 3rd child our baby girl was not really planned (well actually Joellyn and James were not planned)  but we couldn't have been more excited to have another baby and to top it off a girl!!! She is getting more active now during the days, does not nap as much but she sleeps all night and what mama can not like that!!!
Easter 2015

Then there is my husband of 10 years!! I don't know that I give him enough credit.....
He is a wonderful man, friend, husband and father. He is the most patience and compassionate man I know.  He might think so, but he has a great heart and I couldn't of been any luckier to get to say I do to him!

After having my 3rd baby, I have struggled with losing the weight and I actually gained more weight after having Joellyn. I have always struggled but this is the worse ever.  I nurse and I thought it would come right off again this time like the last 2 times, but nope.
I weighed in at 204.8 lbs on Friday, April 10th, 2015. I thought Wow!! This is the biggest I have every been and the most wore out I ever felt.  I dread going up and down my stairs (laundry is down there).  I started my journey on Plexus and I am happy to say I feel great, more energy, back does not hurt and I am down 4.8 lbs.  Now the weight loss is different from person to person. I am at my heaviest I have ever been in my life and the unhealthiest!!! So I believe that makes a huge difference.  I watch what I eat and portion it.  I also drink between 64 to 80 ounces of water daily.  (I pee alot now)!!! If you would like to check out the products from Plexus go to my site http://www.plexusslim.com/karieholman.
These products are all natural and I am loving them.  Let me know if you have any questions.

The Here is to me getting fit and healthy while doing school work, cooking for growing kids and a hungry husband!!!
